Because of the comprehensive redistricting following the 1970 school year, our class was divided, resulting in childhood friends and neighbors being sent to Keenan, Dreher, Spring Valley, and others transferred to 6 separate private schools, with many choosing to graduate early to completely get out of the system. Starting at our 30th reunion we expanded the invitation list to include those that feel like they were part of our class, even though they may not have had a "Flora" ring or actually finished HS in 1972.
Our 40th reunion is scheduled for June 16th at the Embassy Suites - Greystone Blvd. in Columbia SC featuring the Out-of-Towners Band.
